Novant Health Urgent Care – Strand (Formerly Doctors Care)

I was a walk in patient on Friday didnt wait too long at all which was unexpected. Every time I feel bad if I need immediate visit the first thing in my mind is Dr Boyce . She is amazing. Very helpful and easy talking doctor. She really cares about her patients. The nurse and front desk lady were very polite and easy too. They send prescription to the cvs right away. Very good service.

Terrible, terrible experience. I watched as they turned patients away for ridiculous reasons. The staff...they really don't deserve to be called staff, were medical assistants and have very little knowledge and don't have privacy ethics. The nurse practitioner apparently was afraid to do anything to anyone. It was very fishy. The NP did NOTHING. I left angry and was out in my car when another patient came out and told me that the dip that was doing triage was talking about my medical issues to the entire waiting room. She was obviously not qualified to triage an urgent care. I called novant's compliance office and nothing was done about any of this ridiculous place that should be shut down. I paid copay and not only did they not refund my copay...they continue to bill me for doing absolute

My visit today was very disappointing. Not only when I walked through the door the lady behind the desk was to busy installing the new credit card machines to even greet the customers and let them know someone would be right with you. There was one person ahead of me upon arrival, a few people walked in right behind me, two people had appointments so I definitely understood them going first. But then everyone who came in after me got seen before me and I was the last person to be seen even though I was the first person there with all the information they needed. And when I asked if they go in the order of customer arrivals she said yes unless they have an appointment. So why did I have to wait last? Don't think I'll be returning to this location after today's vist!

If I could give negative stars I would… Everyone except the one nurse was incredibly rude and made everything so difficult for no reason. My reason for going was simply and they made it impossible so I followed my advice I got and went elsewhere to care now and that place was impeccable and truly wonderful. Skip this place at all cost and just go to care now or the emergency room. This place needs shut down!!!!!!!

Front desk staff was not friendly. Early Saturday morning and only one other patient. Was seen in adequate time. Left with prescriptions but no paperwork and website says I need an invitation to see my info even tho I followed the registration steps in my email they sent. I would like to see my official results in writing- bp, temp, diagnosis but their system is not user friendly. Overall, not great experience.
