Novant Health Urgent Care – Market Common (Formerly Doctors Care)

My visit today was very disappointing due to the front desk lady dasia's attitude. She wasn’t informative at all, seemed irritated when asked simple questions, and had a rushing, dismissive demeanor that made the entire experience uncomfortable. There was no sense of professionalism or courtesy. Definitely not the type of first impression any care facility should want to leave on patients. Huge shout out to nurse Lynn, for her compassion, professionalism and caring spirit.

Made my appointment for 4 PM prior to showing up didn’t see the doctor until 3 hours later even with the appointment. Filled out all the paperwork online prior to showing up just to have to refill it out upon arrival. The front desk lady was blaring Christian music in the lobby kinda seemed a little inappropriate or out of touch. Not to mention the gigantic hole in the ceiling. Nothing urgent about this care…

The worst. I wait 4 hours to be seen. And that's including the waiting room. Nurse to me back after the first hour and a half. Gave me the pre screening. And they forgot about me in the office. Make that make any sense. I had to ask to use the restroom before they remembered me in the room. Then nurse practitioner act like she didn't care and maybe I should go to the hospital for xrays. Talk to the lady at the front desk she claimed it was before they was under new management. Simply ridiculous.

This place is ridiculous. Absolutely ZERO STARS. My spouse, who felt bad all weekend, left work early to be seen, almost 4 hours later and has not been seen yet. With only one provider, it’s clear that they don’t have enough staff. This place is terrible and won’t be returning. Why only have one provider with lots of patients coming in. Highly disappointed and do not recommend this place. It’s an urgent care facility, which should be quick and reliable, I should not be here all day waiting to be seen.

Super grateful for tge ladies on the Thursday night schedule. We walked in 10 mins before they closed(cause we had nothing better to do the whole rest of that day) and they actually took us in with a smile. My daughter was so nervous and I was trying to avoid th e.r. at all costs. The ladies didn't rush us or make us feel like the Jerks we were that day(arriving when they just wanted to go home). They were kind and helpful. So tytyty again.
