Novant Health Urgent Care – Lexington West (Formerly Doctors Care)

I had my DOT physical today and the entire experience went extremely well. From start to finish, the staff was outstanding. Jessie Wydman, PSR, was welcoming, professional, and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. Shanice Murphy, MA, was very kind, efficient, patient and explained everything clearly along the way. Margaret Patterson, NP, was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to ensure everything was done correctly while still being personable and reassuring. Overall, this was one of the best DOT physical experiences I've had. The team worked seamlessly together and truly cared about providing excellent service. I highly recommend this facility and staff to anyone needing a DOT physical.

excellent staff I scheduled online he was ready with my paperwork very kind and the nurse was awesome thoughtful and pleasant to have as a nurse. The doc a lady was kind and considerate and friendly and I will be a repeat patient for further urgent issues. The place was clean and pleasant to visit. Keep up the great work!

Very good staff. From reception, passing to the nurse and to the doctor. They take their time to talk with you and answer to your questions.

(Sorry for the long post…but it’s a must READ!!!!) I would not trust these reviews for this urgent care. I took my son, my baby boy here for a skin infection on his face, Dr. Veronica Stevenson misdiagnosed him & it went like this: she came in, looked at his face & said to me I’ll be right back! She literally came back with a google search of what she THOUGHT! was wrong with his face: (Molluscum Contagiosum.) I was so devastated my eyes began to swell up, mainly because, One! my questions weren’t getting answered, she kept referring to her google search she printed out about this infection. I told her he had a fever prior and she left just to come back with the same printout but with more pages! Two, I was devastated also due to the causes the printout was referring to like: cancer, diabet

I took my child for an acute ear pain and was rudely greeted by the receptionist who said “do you have an appointment or walk in” not even making eye contact or standing up from her chair. When I advised her it was a walk in she said “fill out that paper over there next to the dirty pens container”. Once it was completed I asked where I should place it and she replied by merely outstretching her arm with her hand open still seated in her chair. So I walked it to her and she glanced, saw it was a child, and reached for a clipboard with papers. Again, outstretched arm holding the clipboard she said “fill these out and bring them back with ID and indicated” never even looking at me, making eye contact or much less making me feel welcomed or valued.
