Novant Health Urgent Care – Carolina Forest (Formerly Doctors Care)

From the moment I walked in the door it was an unpleasant experience. God forbid someone is curious what the wait time is like or asks a question about the chart you’re having to fill out? And forget about the care team. The NP essentially chastised me for trying be knowledgeable and thorough describing various ailments I’m going through and refused to do anything except retest my blood pressure which I confirmed when I got home was not even taken correctly. Not when the systolic drops 35 points in just a ten minute commute. Never again.

A recent visit revealed the professionalism from the entire staff. I received treatment on a Thursday and after the weekend I received a phone call asking how I was feeling. A very polite follow up call made me feel they truly care about their patients.

Husband went in because of rib pain and they acted as if he was being dramatic. Didn't even try doing an ultrasound. He went to another urgent care and ends up he has a fractured rib.

Highly recommend this Urgent care in Carolina Forest. My daughter is sick and tested positive for Covid, the staff were extremely friendly and empathetic. Julianne at the desk has gone above and beyond for my daughter and I. She is the epitome of excellence when it comes to nurturing and helpfulness. I hope Novant health realizes what a gem they have working for them.
