Novant Health Lab Services - New Hanover

Went in for labs -Luckily I was In and out in under ten minutes! Both girls working Saturday 12/13 were friendly and efficient, from being checked in to the ease of the blood draw! Thanks ladies.

They seriously need to make this place kid friendly. I took my 6 year old in for blood work, he is autistic and non verbal. The phlebotomist don’t talk to the kids or anything to try and make them as calm as possible. I mean, it’s little kids that’s scared to death to start with. You could at lease acknowledge the child with a “good job” a sticker or something. They have feelings too. I won’t be taking him back there.

Husband had to get lab work done. Easy in; easy out and nurses are all extremely professional and courteous to each and every patient. Husband’s lab was quick and efficient. A great big “Thank You” to these nurses for their services.

I am 28 weeks pregnant and went for a routine glucose screening. They told me to drink the required glucose drink and sit and wait for an hour. I drank the drink but ended up getting so uncomfortable because the lobby was freezing cold that I went and sat outside in front of the building. I noticed that all of the nurses had on jackets and the other patients were also complains about how cold it was in there. I came back inside after an hour and the staff at the desk told me that they would not be able to take my test since I had left the waiting room. It was extremely frustrating because I wasted two hours of my day and had to take unpaid leave from work.
