Dr. Carpenter , lacks sympathy and best side manners. It’s not the first time dealing with him. He refused to test my son for a full respiratory panel after bringing him in for wheezing and chest retractions.stated my insurance won’t let him. Which is a lie. After i pushed back he then swabbed him for rsv, covid and flu. Then sent us home before results came back. He wasn’t positive for RSV got results 30 mins after leaving with no advice on how to assist my 15mo. Don’t go here. However wait times are great but I’m seeing why no one comes to this ER

Worst ER for children ever. My daughter was diagnosed with pneumonia. She went there straight from her pediatrician in ambulance cause her breathing was bad only for Novant to discharge us and send us home without proper exams and treatment telling us she will be fine. The next day I had to rush my daughter to Atrium because her condition got worst and she needed Surgery to survive.

We had brought our 2 month old baby to this office yesterday because he was bleeding from his mouth, crying, and refusing his bottle. The MD had told us multiple times that he would come back to the room to examine our son “when he was not crying”, of course that wasn’t helpful, because he was crying due to the fact that he was hungry, his mouth hurt, and it was causing him pain to eat. We had stayed for 6 hours with our crying infant and no pain relief was offered, only a CT Scan. I had to identify the symptoms myself and I had even asked if it was thrush, as the white spots were clearly visible on his tongue and throat. We were eventually sent home and told to give him tylenol ourselves at home. Today we went to Atrium Health urgent care as he was still struggling to eat and clearly in p

Great doctor and nurses, showed great attention to detail and got our baby boy well taken care of. We did not have to wait too long.
