My experience with the Heart Center was phenomenal. I was referred by my doctor and traveled from Raleigh. I scheduled for two day cardiopulmonary exercise testing. I was greeted at the registration desk by a very friendly and professional young woman, Michelle. The entire exercise testing staff were extremely knowledgeable and top notch. Of note is an extremely competent and highly professional cardiopulmonary exercise technologist, Barry. In addition, I was very impressed with both Carolyn and Kathy, the respiratory technologists present during testing. Dr. Gilmore is also fantastic. Not only is he knowledgeable but very caring and genuine with a fantastic sense of humor. He spent time to discuss the findings with me. I

I attended Cardiac Rehab here. Phenomenal staff. So very kind, compassionate. Sincere. Helpful. Super knowledgeable in EVERY aspect of health and healing for heart patients. I looked forward to every class, every workout. I found myself hanging on every word of advice from diet and nutrition to exercise, stretching, de-stressing thru meditation and encouragement and camaraderie of group counselling. It was an amazing 9 weeks if instruction, bonding, growing and the best way to come back from mCABGX3triplebypassbypass surgery.

Excellent Doctors Buchanan is the best of the best ! If you want Cardiac care stay away from Christopher Ellis MD Nice guy good beside manner wonder if he got his MD from cracker jack box as he almost killed my family member due to not reading charts and not listening to symptoms.

I really enjoy going to cardio rehab -- had a "challenge" last December and everyone has been most encouraging... I don't like exercise; but they keep you motivated and wanting to return! All the rest of the group is wonderful too -- been seen since 2009 and would not go anywhere else!
