NOVA Patient Care | Primary & Urgent Care in Kingstowne, Alexandria

I’m new to the area and decided to come here because of the number of reviews and rating being on the high side that actually takes my insurance and it’s close to home. I will say after my physical is complete, they have lost a patience who barely walked into the door. I am currently here had an appointment at 11:20 did everything online and arrived on time. Called into a room 5 mins later. I’ve been sitting in a room waiting currently 40 mins and still waiting. I went to the front and asked what is going on that I am still here waiting. The receptionist says oh I’m sorry she’s behind schedule so you don’t think a patient needs to know that. Especially this delayed. Great Office! Everyone here is so polite and attentive. The environment is peaceful clean and wait times are excellent. My bf and I made this location our Primary Care because due to each of our health concerns (both different) we received zero judgement and 100% willingness to help. I highly recommend you come here if they are still accepting patients. Everyone from the Front desk to the practice doctor is phenomenal!

I truly appreciate the staff here. I receive excellent care every time I visit. Gurneet Kaur really listens patiently to my concerns and works diligently with me to ensure everything is addressed. Dr. Bracken listens as well and explains issues clearly and thoroughly. The staff is always kind and considerate, whether over the phone or in person — from Farhan, Waleed, and all of the ladies who work the front desk (the team rotates). If you ever need to see a doctor, you will be in good hands here.

My nurse practitioner was great but it would be helpful for front desk staff to coordinate if blood draws are part of the follow up to avoid multiple visits. Additionally, despite having a new iPhone with no issues the telehealth app shut down and I was told I must use it or the phone is not an option and I can only do in-person visits. While I understand they may not have a solution for this reason I will probably need to find another doctor.

I was able to get through my appointment in a timely manner. Even with some needed updates for my file and giving blood, I was pleased with how the group worked together. Very polite and professional 👌
