Nova Dental

Have not been to a dentist since 2016 back in Staten Island Ny. Wanted to get a second opinion due 2 cavities that were discovered in June. I was told by the first place that they wanted to remove my teeth. I go to nova and that was not the case. The doctor was so sweet and professional. The office is clean and anytime the doctor did anything in my mouth she was always changing the gloves. They took really good care of my mouth and I felt no pain at all!

Receptionist and dental staff are very kind. Office is very clean. Assistant did a phenomenal job, very sweet, Handled her herself very professionally. Dentist seemed rushed. Did not spend more than 90 second all together looking at X-rays and preforming scaling/prophy. Didn’t even attempt to floss my teeth. Honestly, Dentists should not be doing a hygienist job in the first place. They may be knowledgeable however they do not have the time and patience for the job. That’s not where the real money is at for them therefore, they don’t care and it shows. That’s why hygienist exist. Anyway, kind of disappointed in the service but also knowledgeable In the field myself to know enough of the job was done for me to walk away. I had an excellent experience working with Malika at the front desk of the dental office. She is so personable and made me feel welcome right away. What really stood out, though, was how knowledgeable and proactive she was with the insurance process—she worked with them directly over the phone, staying on top of everything, and made sure they handled their share. I really appreciate her support and highly recommend this office!

Nova Dental did an excellent job with my cleaning and fillings. They were able to schedule me for an emergency appointment very quickly for a checkup and X-rays, and I had my fillings done within a couple of weeks. The office is very clean, modern, and well organized, with brand-new equipment. They also accept Medicaid, which is a huge plus. The dentist and the gentleman at the front desk were both very kind, professional, and helpful, which made the whole experience comfortable and stress-free. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend Nova Dental to anyone who needs dental work.

I had first experience today with Nova Dental. Such an awesome team! I had both my parents today and they were both treated with such a good care. The office is very nice and clean, the receptionist is so helpful and attentive to the details. He helped to get my parents check in and out, was very patient and respectful. All the staff is positive, competent and really did everything they could to make the treatment process as smooth as it possible. I'm so grateful and impressed by Nova Dental. We are definitely staying with this office for future. All the best to you guys, you are awesome!
