In and out with a smooth, efficient check-in and check-out process! The facility was exceptionally clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff at Northwestern Medicine Immediate Care McHenry were highly professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming from start to finish. A special thank you to Angela R. and Angelica R. at the front desk for assisting me with my TytoHome medical equipment as they were friendly, patient, and extremely helpful. Their professionalism made the entire visit seamless. Also, it appears some older reviews may not reflect the current experience. The team I encountered was organized, courteous, and attentive. As with any urgent care or immediate care center, wait times can vary depending on patient volume. Healthcare is not fast food service. Quality care takes time,

Came in with my son for a skin infection… ( typical wrestling season issues) Jennifer G. saw us and knew exactly what it was , filled out the IHSA skin form and set up up with a couple prescriptions to get this cleared up before the next tournament. She checked over the rest of his body to make sure we weren’t leaving anything to get worse. She was super nice . Saw Amy W on the way out who was also great !

Updated Review 27Nov2025 330pm extremely efficient check in on a holiday hours. ------Old 5 Star Review------ Dr. Marina Duran & nurse DJ worked after closing to suture a deep knife wound on my hand. Jackie should be a nurse manager. She's the nurse with the sleeve tattoo on her left arm. She gave me pretty gifts to take care of myself. As well as took the time to clean the blood off my nails. This is a very superb location that worked after closing hours to fix my injury. Additionally, this location helped my spouse when she contracted the second strand of COVID and gave her an antiviral when she was working as a nurse. There doesn't seem to be a problem they can't help with. I highly recommend it.

Angelica and Angela are an amazing duo team up front!!! They communicate effectively and are warm and welcoming to all. The doctors are also helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend!! I’m a fan!!

I was a little concerned about going here after reading reviews but it was a very pleasant experience for me. They were efficient and very caring. I was out of there in a very short time and felt like it was one of the best experiences I've ever had at an urgent care.
