Northwest Pediatrics - St. Charles

I’m writing this review to share an honest experience for other families considering this practice. The physicians themselves are very good. When you are actually in the exam room, the care feels competent and thorough. That part has been positive. However, the front office and nursing staff have been extremely difficult to work with, and unfortunately that is who you interact with most of the time. Communication often feels rushed and dismissive. Phone conversations frequently involve being talked over, not being given time to explain concerns, and feeling like there are assumptions being made before hearing the full situation. I placed a call to ask about getting meds for my children and the older woman (her name is carol) that answered the phone was absolutely rude and very unpleasant! I couldn’t even make my request clear because she constantly talked over me. I was very calm so there was absolutely no reason to be rude! I no longer trust my children to be treated/seen in this facility due to the level of disrespect that was displayed on that call.

Doctors and nurses were great. Take time to answer questions. The only person that was rude was the front desk clerk. Who, by the way, has the personality of a gnat. Try better Northwest. Fire her and get someone in there who actually has people skills and is... oh I don't know... friendly.

Dr Miele is incredible. She has helped guide us through finding the medications we need and is an overall kind, thoughtful doctor who leads with compassion. My son loves having her as his pediatrician after having gone through a few different doctors, trying to find who we clicked with. We will be with her until he ages out!

Clean office, the nurses were nice. The front desk employees were rude to my wife on more than one occasion. Very pushy on vaccines. Almost relentless. Tested one of my kids for everything except what she ended up having. Cost me over $300. Just an overall pain.
