Northwell Health Physician Partners Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at New Hyde Park

If you want to feel like a farm animal, you found the right place. After my PCP of 20+ years retired, this was the most convenient "IN PLAN" provider my health insurance plan covered. Probably watched Star Trek way too much when I was young, but bedside manner isn't something practiced here. Obvious that no one working here wants to be here. Not sure where health care is headed, but maybe seeing a veterinarian would be a much better experience.

Doctor Mai Lou is an excellent doctor. I am his patient over 20 years and I will not see no other doctor but him. Thank you doctor Mai Lou. . Bibi Gordon

USELESS. When CVS reached out to the office to advise my son’s inhaler wasn’t covered and to find an alternative the office never returned their call. Even after I called the office to ask for a new prescription I was told it needed prior authorization from insurance which they never obtained nor got back to me. Go for the follow up where Dr Liu supposedly prescribed another inhaler. Operative word ‘supposedly.’ CVS has no record of receiving the prescription. We’re in the process of finding a new pulmonologist.

Staff is unprofessional and care less. I often see the front desk busy chatting among themselve. Appointments are hard often 1 month down the road. Dont recommend coming here if you have chronic disease that need constant appointments. Received an voice mail around 8:30 am on the day of my appointment. It was to cancel my appointment cuz technicisn is out and need to call back for reschdule. I called back and the voice recording said to call back during business hour, which is 9:00. I called around 9:45 and the staff literally said he just got in and wasnt aware that one of the technician was out. The earliest appointment I could get is in a month. Basically I am putted at the end of the queue. Shouldnt I be squeezed in ealrier when you cancel my appointment. What if it is something ur

I’d like to give 5 stars to Dr. Dena Daglian. She did a marvelous job diagnosing an emergency asthma attack I had and told me it was a cardiac issue. My cardiologist performed an echo which revealed a defective valve. The 1 star is for the lack of any communication protocol while she was away. Horrible communication. I called for 3 days to get a refill and still no refill. I’m all out. If I were her I’d find a more reputable group. The medical office support shouldn’t reflect on the doctor. This is a NORTHWELL HEALTH Corporation. I will search for a reliable group and hopefully find a pulmonologist as good as Dr. Daglian.
