Northwell Health Labs at Rockville Centre

Each and every lab technician we have seen here has been excellent. My daughter needs bloodwork done monthly and they always make her feel comfortable. They hit the vein every time smoothly and as painfree as is possible. I am very thankful to have them in our town. Shoutout to Mr. Sean who is the best!

My 3 children and I have blood drawn here regularly. Patients have been handled with care and my children, with humor and sensitivity. Location and walk in services are convenient.

Called to confirm hours of the lab for a specimen drop off. Was told they were open 8am to 4pm on Saturdays and that the specimen could be dropped off at any time. Arrived at 12:15 and was told the lab tech was on lunch until 1 and no one else could intake the specimen- I ’d have to wait or come back. Hours need to be updated if patients will be refused service especially with time sensitive specimens.

Horrible! I always go to Cedarhurst location but wanted to just quickly drop off 24-hr urine to the closest location. They made me wait for 15 min along with other 3 patients. The lab opens at 8am, as of 8:30am nobody was called in. After 15 min of waiting, I kindly asked the lab personel to accept the sample (sample was labeled already and needed to be kept at cold temperature) and she didn’t even look at me and said no. The receptionist said it will be at least 30 min wait. I never had to wait while dropping off the sample, especially at 38 weeks pregnant. They had no consideration, kindness or manners. I will never go back. I left and drove to Cedarhurst location. I was in and out in 5 min including blood work. No attitude, no eye rolling, no issues.

Nothwell hold such high standards and the workers at this location is bringing it down . Very rude . A very uncomfortable feeling. The rating for 2 was atleast it was opened on time and the blood was drawn. But I will be looking for another location in the future if my family should need any lab work or urgent care . It's sad because I am a Rockville-Centre resident but I rather travel for a comfortable setting especially when dealing with health
