Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care

This place is a mess. The reason these urgent care/walk-in facilities opened is that people could walk in without an appointment. I arrived today at 1245 and was told I would not be seen until 430pm, yet the establishment closes at 4! They said I could wait, but it would take about two hours. The problem is that no one is here! This place is empty, with only maybe two other patients in the lobby. As someone who has managed staff for a very long time, I have never seen people move more slowly in my life. Although 'urgent' may be in the business name, these people have no sense of urgency at all. To add icing on the cake, one of the staff walked out from the back and toward the lobby, very loudly complaining that she is overworked and has too many patients! Can someone please fix this place?

I am here with my grandmother, who can barely walk because she is very sick. Despite making an appointment the day before and checking in online, we have been waiting for well over an hour and still have not been seen. When we arrived, there was no one in the waiting room. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if it is not honored—especially for elderly and seriously ill patients? This experience has been extremely disappointing and frustrating.

This urgent care used to be great with good patient flow management and friendly and caring providers. However, just this past month, both myself and my husband were seen by this dismissive doctor who literally didn’t want to be bothered with hearing our questions or concerns. He also claimed that my issue was not due to something and insisted that I continue taking Sudafed. I ended up going to an ENT a couple days later who told me the urgent care was about to kill me with all the Sudafed they wanted me to take. Anyway, unless they bring back providers who actually care and aren’t just burned out, this place is going downhill.

Horrible services. Women at the desk had no clue what she was doing. The pa that saw me and my daughter said we were just fighting a cold. That was lasting over a week. We had to go to our primary care doctors to get real treatment.

I’m very disappointed and upset with my experience today. I very rarely write reviews because I don’t normally care, but I actually cried after my encounter today. I arrived to this facility at exactly 7:59 thinking I would walk up and enter at 8:00am sharp. Instead I was met with three workers staring at me as I tried to open the door. They all begin yelling things at me, which I could not hear, because I was there to have someone check my ears that are both clogged and very painful. I kept saying “I can’t hear you” and still they just stared and yelled. Finally, someone came over, after a very exaggerated eye roll, opened the door, and said in a rude tone “are you the patient” to which I replied yes, and was met with “we don’t open until 8:00am” and a door slammed in my face.
