Northside Hospital Orthopedics - Sports Medicine Specialists - East Cobb

While trying to schedule an appointment for my husband who got into a motorcycle accident. I needed a referall, fully aware of. To get a referall through your primary all is needed- Drs. Name, date & time of appointment. The lady on the phone would not make the appointment without a referall approval. I needed the drs name first to get the referall. To top it off, she hung up on me. Hung up. How unprofessional.

Unfortunately, I have to give this place a poor review. Dr. Berry did not review my x-rays with me when I was there and was impossible to reach via the portal or phone. I spent months in pain before I finally went elsewhere for a second opinion, only to find out that I was still in pain because I was misdiagnosed. After getting a second opinion and the correct treatment, I was better within a couple of weeks. Oh, and the office staff at the front counter were unprofessional, which I also considered in this rating. The only positives were that I was in and out quickly and the x-ray tech was cheerful and nice.

Haven't even gotten in yet. We were told at the affiliated urgent care to just show up and get seen. Being respectful, I put in an email request for an appointment, like the website says to do, that was ignored. Then I called, over and over until I got the call center. Over an hour later I get a call back to come at 1:45. Note the time of this review, and we are locked out of the office.... So, paperwork time? Nope. We haven't even gotten in and I've spent the day being disrespected by this practice. I'll update after the appointment but there are so many practices nearby that this makes it incredibly difficult to think of recommend So far 45 minutes in the waiting room watching people who got here after us get called back, before getting to talk to the medical assistant.... Less of a wait

Dr. Barden treated my 16 year old son for a broken big toe. I was very impressed by his bedside manner. He definitely took the time to thoroughly discuss with my son how to modify his training to allow his toe to heal properly. His front office staff was extremely professional & friendly as well.

Dr. Barden is courteous and took the time to explain my recovery process. The front office staff was very helpful especially Shamella. The x ray tech was very nice. Thanks!!!
