Northside Family Medicine & Urgent Care - East Cobb

I used "Save My Spot" which meant nothing, which I found out in arrival. I had a broken foot and had to keep hobbling to and from the counter and waited a long time to be seen. The X-ray was not read right and they told me the foot was not broken, but I went to my Ortho the next day and found out my foot was fractured. They are also Northside and read the same X-ray. However, at this same urgent care visit, once in the back, the nurse and the doctor were the kindest and most helpful. But since the front area wait etc was miserable and the X-ray not read correctly, I won't return to this location ever.

“You seem stressed” amazing how many times I heard that just to find out my symptoms & diagnosis were real & linked to something serious. The last thing a person should be told is what they’re feeling is from stress when they know their body. The front office & nurse were absolutely amazing. Dr was cool too but I won’t be coming back since my concerns were reduced to stress while in pain. *I was also recommended the generic brand of a certain medication known to help mentally so I can “mellow out”.

I always have the best experience here. The front desk staff are amazing , sweet and kind . The doctors are good, professional and knowledgeable. This place is so clean too. Thank y’all gor yaking cate of me always. God bless you all!!

This place is terrible. The person at the front desk is rude. Took them six days to get back in a stool sample for my son, then they called the prescription into the wrong pharmacy. They never contacted me, and I couldn’t get anyone to pick up the phone. I had to go over there physically to find out what the diagnosis was.

Please do not waste your time coming here. All employees I interacted with were 100% personality deficient and worried more about pushing patients in and out the door (without providing proper care). I started my visit with the typical paperwork to update my new address and pharmacy. I did not have to wait long in the waiting room, which was fabulous; however, I expected more than a 3 minute conversation with the PA once in a room. I explained my reoccurring symptoms and I was prescribed an antibiotic. I had to ask, “Do I take it twice a day for 10 days?” He said yes, and quickly left the room leaving the door wide open. More information should be provided to patients about what treatment they are receiving and given adequate attention to process all the medical jargon being said. At disch
