I initially had a great experience at the store when I stopped in to ask some questions. However, when I reached out to the salesman (Tim) and told him that I had my prescription ready so that I could schedule a time to pick up my machine.... He told me that he was going to send me a email address to send it and then he ended up ghosting me. This was after he had told me that he also needed me to pick up a copy of my sleep study, which I went out of my way to do. All for nothing. Extremely disappointed and will never go here again.

Warning!!! Pick a different medical supply vendor concerning a CPAP unit or insurance claim. . All my communication was with Tim. No response from NIHMS after the sleep study information was sent by the sleep study office which included insurance, doctor authorization, and study results and the end of August, 2024. On September 4, called to schedule a fitting but was told the above information was not received. So I requested the sleep study office to resend information a second time. September 16th, I called Tim at NIHMS several times to check on the status of the equipment. Tim informed me that insurance did not cover the equipment because the sleep study request was not on the same day as my doctor’s visit. I'm not sure how this company still exists. My sister said she had a terrible experience with them a year ago, but I thought it might have been a fluke experience. I was assigned to them for my cpap machine, so I decide to give them a chance since they are local in Dixon. The lady who was handling my prescription was SO RUDE and talked down to me and treated me like I was a 6 year old. It took her forever to get anywhere, so after several phone calls and 4 weeks of waiting with these people giving me no firm answers, I gave up and went to another company and they had me pick up the machine in 6 days. Four months later, I get a call from Northern Illinois supply that they have the prescription issues solved and are now "ready" to set up a time for me to pick up my machine... what the h

I bought my CPAP here. I haven't had a lot of interaction with all the staff, but the ones that I have seem friendly. Tim, who taught me how to use the machine, was awesome. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He has also been great (and patient) when I have called with questions or concerns as I adjust to the mask. All in all, I like them a lot and would recommend them.
