Dr. Huang spent over a half hour listening to my history and complaints. I understand there are many illnesses out there and it is not realistic to expect a solid answer of what is wrong with you on the second or third visit. Ridiculous to expect it on the first visit, as I have read on the few reviews. I am hopeful Dr. Huang will help in figuring my autoimmune so that I can better handle any flare ups or issues. I appreciate the office being so welcoming and efficient.

I saw Dr. Huang here because I’ve had pain for over a decade. Very little of my doctors have taken it seriously so I was hoping a rheumatologist would. I was wrong. He did very little examination of me and mostly asked questions and made suggestions that seemed based in nothing. I’m a trans person and he told me going up on my hormones could “make the pain better, or maybe worse, I’m not sure”. He also told me I could have fibromyalgia or “wear and tear arthritis”. What even is that? I’m 32 and have not done heavy labor how would I have wear and tear on my joints to that extent. He said he was also my age and that sometimes we just need to stretch in the morning! Clearly he was not listening to me talk about how it hurts to put clothes on sometimes. Came in with long list of concerned systems and bloodwork. I was abused by the young doctor H. saying I just had childhood issues. My other doctors were furious when I told them. They said that’s awful and not okay to do to someone. I had Lyme. Immediately placed on doxycycline. Do not go to this office. Unethical and full abuse of a position. He then wrote some nasty notes in Mychart App with retaliation when I told the front desk and the office manager with what he said to me. I came in with dignity and kindness and in return I was heavily abused beyond measure. You want this treatment too? I think not. Unforgivable.

Terrible..Dr H very inefficient. Diagnosed with condition long time ago and is worse, pain is all over especially to the touch, told me I don't have it. I have my condition longer than he was in schooling. The burning, throbbing terrible pain worse, that is why I went to see him, absolutely no help to me, will find a real rheumatologist.

EDIT: 6 months later and I’ve been hospitalized for 4 days now with a possible Lupus flare, that caused a seizure or TIA. So thank you, once again, for not helping me! It would be nice if your rheumatologists spent more than 10 minutes with someone who is trying to discuss 10 years worth of illness and pain, but apparently just lumping them off on a pain clinic with no real diagnosis is the appropriate thing to do.
