When this place opened up it was great. Prompt friendly expert service in a clean and beautiful environment. Everyone there is still very friendly, but the service is consistently well below reasonable expectations. Phone communication is completely useless, email messages are not returned, office staff (besides Kathy) have no practical knowledge of Rx or OTC medications. They clearly have no interest or ability in providing fast or even moderately quick service. Everyone working there seem nice enough, but there is no bounce in anyone's step to get you what you need and get you out of the store and then move on to the next customer. I used to be ok with this pharmacy, but I can’t possibly work with the anymore. It is impossible to get them on the phone. When I’m in person, the line is unreasonable. I asked my doctor to switch my prescription to another pharmacy and now I can’t pick up from that pharmacy because it’s saying it’s too soon for me to refill. Meanwhile, I’m unable to get in touch with this pharmacy to cancel the prescription. It’s been about 3 weeks now of me trying to call. I’ve also attempted email and no response. This is outrageous. Do NOT use this pharmacy.

What happened to them? This was my go to pharmacy until the last few weeks. I’ve called them over a dozen times—at different times of the day—and if you’re lucky enough to get past their busy signal, you’ll be left on hold for upwards of 15 minutes. I’ve been waiting on a prescription for the past 1 1/2 weeks—and I’d like to make sure it’s ready for pick up before I drive out there. It’s slightly out of my way, and they tend to close a bit early — I don’t want to leave work early just to find they haven’t filled it. They used to send updates via text, but I haven’t received those either. I’ve asked my doctor to switch the prescription to CVS. Northshore Chemists is no longer reliable. After nearly two weeks of calling dozens of times a day and never getting anything but a busy signal (in 2025...) I have given up and moved onto a new pharmacy. 2 weeks of waiting for a call back and nothing. You can't even leave a voicemail.. If you value customer service at all I would avoid this place. You will never get a call back and you will never get notifications that your prescriptions are ready. You're on your own here.

I have been using this pharmacy for quite a few months. However, recently the customer service has been terrible. I called to refill my prescription for a week and they seem to be having an issue with filling prescription due to inventory. I understand, that's not their fault, however when I told the clerk who answered that I want my prescription transferred to my local pharmacy because they have it in stock, she seemed annoyed & pushed me to refill an alternative, I told her that I prefer to have the brand since it's working well for me, she seemed upset & began to be rude, I said, there's no need to be rude with me. It's not my fault that you guys are unable to fill my prescription. So, I asked for her name & she said "my name is..."and hung up on me! Unbelievably unprofessional.
