North Jersey Pulmonary Associates - Dr. Nader Mahmood MD, FCCP

I started seeing Dr. Mahmood when he was with Dr. Dikengil. When he moved to Ridgewood, I had transportation issues and went elsewhere. After disappointing results with other physicians, I came back looking for a fix to my problems. Dr. Mahmood and the staff treated me as though nothing happened and picked right up to help my situation. Dr Mahmood is extremely kind, caring, attentive, and knowledgeable. Most importantly, he listens and comprehends your concerns and issues. He takes appropriate steps to help his patients. He has surrounded himself with a fantastic, kind, and helpful staff. Highly Recommended!

This place is a joke! Unprofessional and unorganized. I went for my first appointment staff seemed okay but the moment I met Dr. Jamil I was ready to leave she is new to the office but she seems new to the occupation and clueless and unsure I didn’t feel confident I was receiving accurate information, care or answers. To make matters worse I almost walked out because I was told the staff would be with me in five minutes and at this point I was already there for an hour and the whole appointment seemed useless. They have one machine to test for asthma which takes 45 minutes and everyone was waiting for a single machine. I should of knew better because when I first got there a patient was told to come for the ring and when she got there it still hadn’t be charged or programmed and was told t

Dr. Mahmood sits with you and answers your questions. Dr. Mahmood is very thorough in helping you with your conditions and he stays on top to make sure you get everything done in timely manner. He makes sure the medicine is helping you or tries other options. Very well respected and kind doctor. Highly recommended him to anyone. His team is amazing too, they get the work done and are on top of it too!!!

I cannot thank the staff and doctors at North Jersey Pulmonary Associates enough for their dedication and persistence in getting my prescription approved. They worked tirelessly, advocating on my behalf until they finally got my prescriptions approved by insurance after being denied four times. Their professionalism, compassion, and determination truly went above and beyond. I am so grateful for their hard work and support. I recently had a few appointments with Dr. Mahmood. I was thoroughly impressed. Not only was the doctor extremely knowledgeable and professional, but he also took the time to listen to my concerns and provide thoughtful answers to all of my questions. He made sure I understood the clinical assessment(s) and medication regimen including possible side effects. The office was clean and the staff was friendly, which made for a very comfortable experience overall. I highly recommend Dr. Mahmood, he is sound clinically and a personable physician.
