Not a good place for kids at all. Rude staff. The X-ray technician told my 4 year old son they were going to get a machine to pry his mouth open if he didn’t open his mouth..... which was a lie and just scared him more. Then Dr. M laughed through the rest of the check up because my son was crying and upset over the debacle with the x-rays. Also after two years of going there my son was never given a proper cleaning and never had his teeth scaled once. Had a first visit at a new dentist and was surprised they gave him a full normal dental cleaning as he’s never had it before and I had just figured that was the normal with pediatrics. Trust me there are better places to take your kids. Steer clear of this office.

My two daughters ages 3 and 20 months and my 11 year old step son go to Dr. Malecz. The office is very kid friendly and everyone is so friendly. The assistants and Dr Malecz are very patient and great with the kids. I always recommend them to everyone.

Would NOT recommend. They told me at my last cleaning that I had zero cavities. A few weeks later I developed a tooth infection and had to get a root canal, which I got done at another dentist since Dr. M was on vacation. The new dentist took x-rays and found six other cavities, one of them large enough that it also might need a root canal. They said cavities that large do not develop over night, so I probably had them at least at my last 2 cleanings when Dr. M said both times they saw no cavities on the x-rays. I have also never received a proper cleaning from them. The new dentist gave me a very thorough cleaning today and said my gums were quite inflamed and I had a lot of buildup on my teeth probably because I was very overdue for a cleaning. Outstanding dentist for kids! He performed a much needed double tooth extraction for my very nervous daughter without her even realizing it! We were amazed and extremely appreciative! Thanks Dr Malecz! Very helpful and friendly staff as well.

8 or so years later and I still have a traumatic fear of dentists directly correlated with my experience here. Dr. Malecz is not sensitive to patients experience or needs. Unfortunately, I have a small mouth (thanks mom and dad) and growing up, I ended up having a majority of my teeth extracted in order to ensure ample and adequate space in my mouth for my permanent teeth to grow in correctly. As a young kid, this experience isn't necessarily the most comfortable or welcoming--and Dr. Malecz made it that much more worse. One time, he extracted 6 of my teeth instead of the 2 that I was told were going to be pulled, without telling me. Another time, he gave me a shot of Novocain for 4 teeth I was having extracted and did not wait for the Novocain to set (as mandated for use) and ended u
