North Country Primary Care Newport

This place not sure if anyone even work here I am on a medication and can never get a refill with out call them 3 or 4 time they usually run me out I suffer from Crohn’s and it’s miserable not having medication please somone here get in the ball and do the job it’s been 18 days no call back when I called this morning to ask why I was told their staff does not have time to pick the phone up Is this your standard practice? ?? Completely unfair to any patient taking medication or otherwise This is not the first time last time this happened. The local drugstore would not fill my prescription because I was the only one taking it and I had to spend about an hour on the phone calling all the local drugstores to find a new provider because apparently this doctors office did not have time to do so

I just moved to the area, so this was my first time with the new PCP. Reception was friendly and quick. The nurse was great, and Dr Alvarez was great too. She seemed very knowledgeable, she listened and didn't rush me. No complaints!

Dr. Alvarez needs more education and shouldn’t be a Dr at all , she misdiagnosed my mother’s throat cancer for strip throat and would not listen to my mother when she said she felt a lump in her throat and refused to do further testing, my mother is having a hard recovery to her cancer, since she was at stage 4 throat cancer and the mass was quite large in her throat, worse Dr ever !!!!

The front staff is always friendly and helpful, accommodating. The staff and doctor i have are always kind and they listen to what i say, my ideas are considered as well. Also, they believe me when I think something is wrong. They take good care of me there. Very friendly place. Efficient doctor visits. As long as you are on time,there is usually only less then a five minute wait. I'm seen in a timely fashion, which is cool for me because i have little to no patience when it comes to waiting...lol One more thing,i feel is important. I really feel comfortable in knowing that my doctor really cares. They don't just push you through. I recommend especially for young children as well. My two young sons attend appointments here and they don't mind going. They're really good with children as wel

I have been going here for my medical care for several years and have had nothing but wonderful state of the art care. Friendly front desk staff, there are always 3 people up front, so no waiting to be checked in. When I have called, they answer phones quickly and process my appt. requests and questions quickly. They have a large comfortable waiting area, clean bathrooms, and clean, warm exam rooms. I have never waited more than 5 minutes after checking in. They have their own lab on site too. Lots of parking right in front, just a lovely newer building and a very talented and caring staff. Highly recommend.
