Laziest operation by far. why I had to pay $25 twice already to receive a basic printed license. Website said it should take 10 business days. It's taking months. Also, I still didn't receive the other the first copy I paid for, it has been nearly a year. They are fast to withdraw money but hardly do their job.
Most inefficient and unprofessional organization I have ever experienced. Everyone here needs to be fired and replaced with professional managers who appreciate the work and dedication the field requires.
They are giving me the run around just to get licensed, because why would they wait until the day i get my license number to tell me that one of my moral character reference letter was not submitted correctly they had weeks to tell me this information so that postponed my licensing and the week prior they did the same thing stating i didn’t submit my professional background/resume why not tell all this information one time it’s like i have to call up there and make sure they receive everything and correctly why do i have to hold sara’s hand through this process when i already did my part. Do better please…
You would think I applied to become the mayor or something. These requirements and this process is tedious. It has discouraged me from even wanting to be a licensed massage therapist here again in NC after 14 years of practicing in another state. Over 20 ppl feel the same way from reading the review prior to mine. Hello..Something is wrong here.
The requirements for obtaining a massage license in this state are outrageous. I've had licenses in Florida and Arizona and am highly qualified to administer therapeutic massage. Since it's been over 20 years since I've attended massage school and the school is no longer in business, I need to contact the massage board in Florida to see if they have the documentation from my school. In addition, the NC Board of Massage requires history of all past work experience along with phone numbers, addresses, etc... When I asked a board staff member if there were exceptions for those in my situation who didn't have references from over 20 years ago, she said there were no exceptions. I'm also curious about how the $200 application fee is spent🤔. There are several other ridiculous hoops to jump th
