North Atlanta Dermatology - Buford

This location is a joke. I went to this location today for my yearly visit. The girls at the front desk acted like they had zero clue of what was going on. I had to tell the girl that my insurance number had changed, but not my insurance itself. I shouldn't have to tell someone that she should be asking. She then came back to tell me she had to call my insurance to see if they were in network, which is fine—I totally understand. The girl then proceeded to call my insurance company, which took a while. I went up to the front and told them that on my insurance app on my phone it showed that I was in network, in case that helped with anything. She said it didn’t and that they still had to call. This call took around 30 minutes, and meanwhile I was waiting for them to tell me what they said.

They were amazing. Absolutely a 10/10 experience for me. They made me feel heard, they explained things in a way that made sense, and showed me a clear path to recovery that I didn't think was possible. In addition to this, I had a medical episode at the end of my appointment, and they all did an amazing job at helping me and not making me feel bad about what happened. They are all so sweet, professional, and I can tell they care about their patients. If the doctor, nurses, and student doctor/nurse that was there is reading this. Thank you! You all did amazing and I will be getting some help about the medical episode I had, and I feel way better now. Thank you! I will 100% be coming back to North Atlanta Dermatology at Buford again!

First, let me say, the lady I spoke to in the billing department was very pleasant. The response she received from the office manager when she conveyed my concerns pretty much validates my review. Regarding my actual visit, I felt like I was just a box to check that day. The NP spent less than 10 minutes in the room with me. She brushed off my concerns and was pretty much on auto-pilot. I was not treated as a whole person, rather she was just focused on the symptoms. No questions about my diet, skin care routine, or anything. Typical, prescription that would have affected my liver/kidneys and promotional sample skin creams that made the situation worse. I can't say enough positive things about my experience at North Atlanta Dermatology's Buford location. From the moment I walked in, the level of customer service and professionalism was truly exceptional. The team at the front desk was welcoming and efficient during check-in, and the care I received from Dr. Ismail, Ruben, and her team was outstanding. They were supportive, professional, and took the time to address all of my concerns thoroughly. The positive experience continued all the way through check-out. Even after my appointment, when I had a follow-up question, I received a quick and helpful response via the patient portal. It’s clear that this team is dedicated to providing excellent care at every stage. I highly recommend Dr. Ismail, Ruben and her entire team.

I normally post positive reviews unless I feel a service needs to be held accountable for what I feel is unprofessional. On December 2d, I made my appointment (1st) for this office in Buford. The appointment was scheduled for January 2d. *Today is December 29th (27 days). I just received a call from their office informing that the doctor is not available for my appointment. Today. On the week of the scheduled appointment. The office would like to make amends by sending me to another location(s) in Timbuktu which is/are upwards of 40 minutes away. What I think they fail to understand is that patients will choose certain offices/locations for convenience. To call on the week of the appointment for a reschedule is pretty poor. Even worse, my reschedule is now another near month away. I’ll
