Getting the diagnosis can be very scary especially when you make the decision to have a mastectomy. Dr. Larsen made me feel very comfortable about all the options and decisions that needed to be made for reconstruction. She discussed the pros and cons and gave me several options and helped me decide on the best option for me. Dr. Larsen also uses local anesthesia to mitigate some of the post operative pain after the surgery. I went home quite comfortable. In short, Dr. Larsen listens, cares, and will take the time to answer all your questions. I highly recommend her.

My experience with Dr Larsen went very smoothly. My dermatologist sent me to a surgeon who sent me to Dr Larsen for removal of a melanoma in a very difficult location. She explained the surgery and made sure that the resulting scar was in the best possible place. Healing was fast and it looks great.

I am a retired oncology nurse who was diagnosed with breast cancer this Spring (2025). I found myself consulting with Dr. Larson just days after finding out I had lobular breast cancer which in my case was going to require a bilateral mastectomy. I had done my homework and had some very specific requests for my breast reconstruction. Dr. Larson left me feeling heard as my request was not a typical one.
