Great customer service. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Never a long wait, even if I bring the prescription with me and wait for them to fill it. They also never lose prescription that I KNOW was sent in in the computer system and blame me like Walgreens used to do. They always have it in their system and it is usually filled by the time I get there - if it isnt, I barely have enough time to go pick out a nail polish before they have it filled and ready to go.

Who agrees with me there should be absolutely NO MARGIN OF ERROR in the filling of prescriptions? I and my partner had been loyal customers of NOLA Discount Pharmacy since it opened many years ago. A series of errors over a period of less than a month involving three prescriptions that NEITHER of us asked to be refilled soured us on the professionalism of this pharmacy. One of the prescriptions that had been erroneously filled was a medication my partner was HIGHLY ALLERGIC TO. When I spoke to the pharmacist I was told he didn’t know who had “keyed it in.” I asked what that meant. He told me the clerks behind the counter—mostly consisting of high school students—had the authority to “key prescriptions in.” This was appalling to learn. The pharmacists and staff are very helpful. I get my dog's meds filled here and they are super nice.

Whenever I am in Metairie I usually pop by to pickup various supplements and other OTC items. Prices are good.

Extremely slow and unprofessional service. I was placed on hold for 15 minutes only to be told they didn’t have my prescribed medication—despite my PCP confirming it was sent. I was transferred four times between staff members—an absolute ridiculous experience for a pharmacy service. This clearly reflects a lack of communication within the team. Completely unprofessional and frustrating. Management needs to address this or risk losing more customers. I won’t be coming back. The wait times on the phone are unacceptable, and the staff is unhelpful. Other pharmacies offer much faster, more competent service.
