Nitin Chanana MD, Pediatric and Fetal Cardiologist

So I haven't even been seen yet but this rating is based off of the reception I scheduled an appointment for my son and everything was good I got a call back saying my insurance was denied so I told them that I would like to cancel the appointment because I want to figure everything out I don't want to get in trouble for not being able to pay for this appointment. So she cancels the appointment I call my insurance on Monday to figure out what's going on my insurance calls them trying to figure out what's going on and she explains to the insurance that I didn't pay a deductible but the insurance is like it's Medicaid she doesn't have to pay a deductible. We saw Dr. Chanana after an emergency visit with one of my children. We have never had someone take the time to sit down and explain to us what was happening and why it is happening. I knew very quickly that not only were we in the presence of a brillant doctor, but also a very kind man. If you are in need of a pediatric cardiologist, we could not recommend him any higher. We are very thankful for the time he and his staff gave to our family. He is a blessing to have in right here in Oklahoma.

Dr. Chanana did a wonder job with my son. He was extremely nervous coming today. Front office was very welcoming when walking in the door. The staff did an excellent job explaining everything step-by-step when he had questions. When the lady came in to do the ultrasound, she was patient and answered every question he had about the machines. Thank you guys for taking such good care of my son during this appointment. Highly recommend this office.

The rating is soley based on the receptionist! She is extremly rude. If you are going to have someone be the face/person who operates the phone then make sure they have proper ettiquette & they are respectful, especially since this is a place that works with kids. Considering going somewhere else, which is a shame because I didn't even give Dr. Chanana a chance and I was referred here.

I would highly recommend Dr. Chanana! He is very professional, thorough and respectful. He listened to my daughter explain her symptoms, gave us his opinion, and made sure we understood everything. He explained every procedure and made sure that we were comfortable with the testing. Overall, the experience with this doctor was one of the best we have had! The lady that works for him in the office, Sara, was just as nice and caring. She is very friendly and personable! My daughter really liked her too. :)
