I survived the hygienist chair and lived to smile about it — thanks to Shanna! She was informative, pleasant, and somehow managed to keep the pain to a minimum while tending to my admittedly inflamed mouth (self-inflicted, in case you were wondering). She walked me through what she was doing like a dental tour guide, which made the whole thing feel oddly reassuring. Tech nerds will approve: they use a flashy air-water-powder jet to blast away plaque and stains. It felt a bit like a tiny, polite sandstorm for my teeth — efficient and oddly satisfying.
