NHPP Cardiology and Medicine Specialties at New Hyde Park

The wait time is ridiculous , last week 1:30 pm appointment seen at 4:45 pm and left 6:15pm . No one updates you or cares enough to update you . Today I asked the wait was told 1.5 hours and mind you when I asked why wasn’t I called to come later the DR wants patients to be here on time but he can’t be on time . I am here as to get a new patient appointment will be in November or December so no choice . Any thoughts.

They do not know how to pick up the phones and all the receptionist are really mean with the patients don’t know how to talk to patients. The only nice people are the doctors and the nurses that work with the doctor, I have been calling for 3 hours straight since 9am and no one picked up my phone only one time and my other doctor I needed referral for still waiting for referral. Only good people are doctors, the receptionists think they are better than everyone.

Northwell Health severed ties with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield in NY and did not properly inform their existing pediatric patients. Unfortunately, a grace period was not given and parents were left scrambling trying to find a new pediatrician for their children. The handling of this situation was unacceptable and reflects negatively on this company.

I took a patient there to see Dr Spivack. I can tell you He's the best primary and cardiologist ever. He's funny and he makes the patients feel really good about themselves.

Expect to wait HOURS every time you come here. Doctors are great but the wait time is inexcusable.
