NHC-Maury Regional Transitional Care Center

My husband is in outpatient therapy due to a massive stroke. It is obvious that the therapists care about their patients. They are knowledgeable, professional, and determined. We are probably about 70% recovered. They have been as happy about every improvement and success as we have. I firmly believe that we wouldn’t be where we are today if it hadn’t been for them. I can not stress how much I recommend these therapists.

My husband Joseph broke his hip three weeks ago and is now at NHC! Everyone at this location is super nice and I’m there everyday at different times. He is well taken care of. So glad we chose this place. A big Thank You to everyone! We love you and God bless you all!

My Mother was there and the Staff are all great! She went to a different facility for a short time and the difference was like night and day. NHC Maury Trotwood is wonderful.

My soon-to-be 97 year old Grandfather was moved here from the hospital for transitional care, before he can return to his assisted living facility in Spring Hill. I was able to visit him yesterday with my mom. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help us and my Grandpa for his specialized needs. The facility was very clean and although they seemed to have a significant number of patients, the staff was on it! There are some other place I've been to and it was obvious that some of the staff loathed being there, but not this place! It's easy to see that NHC-Columbia is committed to caring in a better way, while promoting recovery, well-being and independence to their residents. Decent place , some nurses are way better then others. Aides aren't really allowed to do much. They had therapy come in and then haven't been seen since. Hitting your call light is good waiting hours for it to get answered isn't. Rooms are very nice and very clean. Food is also very good. Only getting the food you requested is like pulling legs. Wound care , and case management is too notch. I do recommend this place for short term care. The issues that are here is small. But could be corrected.
