This is a filthy, negligent, emotionally bankrupt facility. AVOID it at all costs. The Administrator is toxic and hateful to clients. The staff is barely competent. There is revolving door of new employees that don't stay because the conditions for both staff and clients are unbearable. The clients sit all day with nothing to do. There are no activities other than serving ice cream and digital bingo. No PT. They divert NHC bills to your home and refuse to pay for 6-8 months, clothing and personal items disappear. If you've heard anything negative about a nursing facility, it probably originated at NHC.

Highly recommended! I am in healthcare. I did my clinicals here. I insisted on this place for my father. Later I insisted on this place for my mother. The issues, abuse and challenges that employees in healthcare have to deal with is extremely challenging. The nursing staff is very attentive and patient ! Anytime I have ever had a concern the staff went above and beyond to resolve any issue in whatever department. Every department from dietary to laundry to nursing has always exceeded my expectations. My mom loves the food! She complains about the bacon not being cooked right but dietary was quick to address the issue. My mom is difficult to deal with at times. I noticed the majority of these reviews are pretty old. We brought my stepdad there today. Everyone went out of their way to come say hello and welcome and see if we needed anything. He was not real happy on the way there but after getting there, he was excited and content. It did not have the smell like others. Everything was very clean. We were able to wander around freely and check out the facility. Thank you all.

This facility is absolutely horrifying. I was a resident for less than 24 hours when my nursing team from my previous facility returned to move me back to their facility. In my few hours there I saw roaches on the wall light just above me, along with what appeared to be black mold growing on the wall. The wallpaper was falling off the walls, the carpets were disgusting, and the facility smelled as if there were rotting corpses lying around. The bathroom was disgusting with bm on the rim, and the floor was sticky. I do not understand how this facility is allowed to operate .

This woman that is in charge belittles others, will look you in the face and lie to you. My mother was there until we took her out. I talked to the Admin. She was very hateful. Did not care to listen to my concerns. She became hateful and stated we could take my mother somewhere else. We did. To a wonderful place that cares.
