NextCare Urgent Care Tucson - N. Park Avenue

I went in for a big fluid sack on my left elbow. I thought it was from fiberglass shards I got in there a month or so ago. I was told it was bursitis and given 5 Prednisone pills. It's been 6+ days the sack is still on my elbow and now a little bigger. I still think it's a giant yuck sack formed around little pieces of fiberglass. The VA emergency department has very long wait times so I tried this for more convience. I will be going to the VA on Wednesday to have this fixed unless it turns bad before then.

I made an appointment for 8 AM, when NexCare Urgent Care opened. I went to the one on Park and 6th Street in Tucson, where I was attended to in 5 minutes. This facility has an x-ray machine, which I needed for my wrist. The results came back within 10 minutes. I received a copy of my discharge instructions, a referral for further examination of my wrist, a CD of the x-ray pictures, an information sheet about a walk-in clinic for people with acute orthopedic injuries, and a splint for my wrist. It was all very professional, thorough, and quick – words you don't always see together. I highly recommend this clinic.

Called the urgent care to schedule my appointment, but went in less than 15 minutes of making that appointment as I was in too much pain to wait for the following day and decided to go the day before. They were thankfully taking walk-ins. But when I checked my appointment, I found they had me down for the wrong name. In which I told the front desk, the one who asked of my medical history and the NP that the name was spelled wrong. Later I got an after care summary with antibiotics I was supposed to pick up from the pharmacy. I did not look at it too carefully at that time (my mistake), but found out the name was INCORRECT on the summary along with the date of birth. Will call them in today to see if they will be able to send in another order with the correct information. Depending on how

It was one of the best Urgent Care experiences that I ever had. The PA, Steve, and his assistants were wonderful exhibiting much kindness and compassion. I will highly recommend this Urgent Care to family and friends.

Overall the best experience!! My mother was seen 2/18 and Young Lady Karlia Was attentive, kind and translated for my mother very well. I recommend this location as they are quick and helpful. Will be coming back soon
