NextCare Urgent Care Tucson - E. Pima Street

I forgot the receptionist’s name, but she was incredibly kind, professional, and very helpful with my insurance. Going to urgent care can sometimes feel stressful because you worry about the cost and the time it might take, especially with higher deductibles these days. But my experience here was great. I didn’t have to wait long at all, and the visit ended up being much more affordable than I expected. The whole process was smooth and efficient. I really appreciate the great service and would definitely recommend this location.

Had to quickly switch clinics because when I went to check in at one (after having an appt), they said an hour wait because they reduced the providers that day. I went online to book at the Pima clinic (where I’ve also been before) and got in quickly and was seen quickly and out the door quickly with Rx before I probably would have even gotten in to the other. Great and nice provider with awesome bedside manner.

Came in having cut off the tip of my finger. Asked to sign and fill out forms with my bloody hand many times. It took 25 min to see the nurse practitioner and I was the only one there. I was in intense pain. The triage nurse Hemma? … when I mentioned I was in a lot of pain and wondered when I would be treated she said “What’s your problem? There have been lots of people all day in more pain than you. If you don’t like this you can just march on down the street to the emergency room.” Wow! Urgent care? I was told I was having a heart attack because of EKG. The person who put the probes on was not very competent and I was told to rush to the ER. The ER ran all their tests. I was there for six hours and there's nothing wrong with my heart so no I would not recommend and would like a refund and my 6 1/2 hours back. We need a zero as an option

NextCare Urgent Care on Pima is a great place to go if you need medical care. I've always gone to TMC Urgent Care, but even though they take walk-ins, sometimes they are just too busy. I had to go on a Monday evening to have a painful swollen foot checked out, and TMC was full at an hour and a half before closing. We remembered seeing NextCare not far away and drove over, where they signed me right in. The receptionist brought out a wheelchair for me because I had a hard time walking. The office was clean and roomy with several patients who were waiting their turn. I don't think we had to wait longer than 15 minutes to be seen. All the staff was friendly and efficient.
