NextCare Urgent Care Gastonia

I was greeted upon arrival pleasantly. I was evaluated & treated expeditiously. Jennifer, MA & Scott, PA were kind, professional & personable. I had a thumb laceration & sutured up. This was my first time at this facility & I highly recommend this facility. Way quicker & more pleasant than ER experiences!

I understand it’s the day after Thanksgiving so they’ll were short staffed but we did wait in the room for over 45 mins and I asked if they forgot about us, not realizing they only had one doctor. If I had known that initially I wouldn’t have said anything but that was not brought to my attn, other than initially telling me that “the Dr will be with you shortly” I did make an appointment online in advance. The issue I have is the support staff or nurse giving us conflicting information about the care/treatment from what the actual Dr told us when she came in the room. I told the Dr there is miscommunication and they need to be on the same page because I wasted over an hour of our time and no treatment was received. I understand the xray technician was not there so they referred us elsewher

I took both my kids when they got sick. The wait is short. I’m in and out in less than an hour. The care is good and the staff is friendly. The doctor is nice and he listens. I prefer this place to any other. It’s convenient when my children’s pediatrician don’t take walk ins and it takes several weeks to months to schedule an appointment. Best place in Gastonia so far. Don’t waste your time going to Atrium Health! 100% recommended.

I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent visit to your urgent care facility, which I have used regularly in the past for my medical needs. I came in due to significant knee pain. Upon arrival, I was checked in by the receptionist; however, I was concerned by the unprofessional appearance and posture at the front desk, which did not reflect the standard of care I have previously experienced at your facility. I would like to note that the nurse who greeted me was kind, attentive, and genuinely concerned about my pain. She checked my vitals and was very professional. The physician also examined my knee and ultimately recommended over-the-counter medication. Unfortunately, I had already tried multiple over-the-counter options without relief, which was the reason I sought urgent care.

Excellent visit from start to finish. Was sent here by my employer since Atrium is no longer doing DOTs or urine drug screens. The building was clean, the staff was friendly, the doctor was efficient . Was in and out less than an hour. I will be back.
