NextCare Urgent Care Elizabeth City

Overall it wasn't terrible, wait time was pretty long and bring back memories from those long time ago when you had to wait forever to see the doctor. But you only have 1 Doctor on call and 20 patients so what do you expect and you have walk in patients, too. This is the 2nd time for me coming into this urgent care. Me being Electrician and I wish I could come in and change out all of these lights to 100% LED 4100 color change out ballast all different color fluorescent old lighting. Makes it very hard to pass the vision test for people like myself. The building is old and worn. I should be more understanding on the medical situation in Elizabeth city NC surrounding area because this is what this area is lacking. Build a new hospital but need doctors. The staff are very nice. Wait time was about 30-45min on a Friday evening at 7pm. The Doctor seemed to know exactly what was going on with me and he had a comfortable bed side manner. My prescriptions were ready when I went to pharmacy. Only reason I gave 4 star and not 5 was no blood work or testing was ordered to confirm diagnosis. But I feel better already so the Doctor obviously knows what he is doing.

i was told the wait time was 2 hours when i scheduled an appointment because of low staff and they still made a way for me to be seen within an hour instead of 2. i know patients get frustrated with wait times but they are still doing great job and the wait times  are sometimes necessary to give every patient attentive care. i still give 5 stars for everything. the last 4 times i’ve been seen it’s been the exact same doctor and he does an amazing job. i believe his name is Larry. i am a hypochondriac and they always ease my nerves and today was my first visit without my mom or a friend wich seems silly but for people with anxiety especially at the doctors office like myself, they always make you feel comfortable. i will continue to settle for wait times when the service is always 130 perce

Wait is awful, dr is good. Ive seen this dr (well my husband twice and just too my niece) a few times and he has excellent bed side manners, asked good questions, seems to be pretty thorough in general when seeing patients. The qait however is dreadful, even when making an appointment you wait multiple hours to be seen. If we could fix that, they'd be excellent!

We arrived at the office at 4 pm, and waited 2 hours to see the doctor. Everyone was so pleasant and helpful. They had experienced an emergency earlier and through their schedule off. But each person the we dealt with was patient, thorough and kind. A very good experience.
