NextCare Urgent Care Columbia

It's very clean and plenty of spacious sitting area. They got me in pretty promptly, and took good care of me. And the pharmacy texted me that my prescription was ready before I even left the parking lot! I highly recommend this Urgent Care Clinic!

Lady at front desk was nice , if anythang the welcome came from her but vibes was off in the place. I made it there at 8:15am. Waiting in the back till 9:45am . I calmly Asked 1 of the nurses may I have a doctor's note and that I had to leave , she refused me and said the the doctor was coming right in. Mind you it was only 1 other lady in there that came after my daughter and I. Why would it take that long and why refuse me a doctor's note? I should of just went to the emergency room instead. If you wanna wait forever , come here.

I called ahead last night half an hour before close and was warned that they were at capacity and I could either go to the ER or come in the morning. Unsurprising, saved me a waste of a drive, and allowed me to plan ahead. I went early in the day today, so the wait was short. The receptionist was flexible and easy-going about giving me the choice whether to postpone my spot in line for a phone call I needed to make, and let me know I was next in line and they would call me up in just a few minutes. He was right, and I was grateful I didn't give up my spot on a gamble. The provider, Robyn, and assistant nurse (name started with a Z, I believe, tried to catch it from the nametag so I could give her a shoutout) were great. The lady at the front desk and the nurse that did the pre stuff were fabulous. And that’s probably the last positive thing I can say. When I made my appointment online there were multiple times available. I picked 12:45 pm. Checked in no problem. After about 20 mins I opened the app and pulled up the queue. I was 5th. OK, fine. Until I looked again and the patient next in line had an 11:45 appointment. I wait, the queue hasn’t moved. No one is coming out. This isn’t good. I heard the lady at the desk (very nice, very professional even when people were crabby) tell someone that there was only one provider. Let me make a suggestion. If you only have one provider then you need to block some of those appointments off. People do not go there for fun. We’re sick. We don’t feel good and need/

The assistant upon arrival very helpful. Also first review of issue by nurse very good Exam wheat fine with good plan of care. Issue when went to pick up script at pharmacy. Who ever put in the order did not gave name spelled correctly and I was told not in system. Thankfully the person at the pharmacy followed a protocol and found the order despite several issues
