NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital - Emergency Room

If you’re dealing with a true emergency, you may be better off going to the Coney Island hospital. The only reason we came here was because my mother’s doctors are affiliated with this facility. The ER is severely overcrowded and feels neglected. It needs renovation at minimum, and frankly, a thorough cleaning. The environment is chaotic and poorly managed. The nursing staff appears to need significant training. Bedside manner is often lacking, and there is little to no communication about what medications or treatments are being administered. Sensitive health information is discussed openly in rooms with many patients separated only by curtains, raising serious privacy concerns.
