If I can give it a 0- I would. I've been in the ER area since 3pm I waited over 7 hours and was sent back to get ex rays “by mistake” ! There is ABSOLUTELY NO PRIVACY! the nurses will walk past you without even communicating about next steps! They don't ask if you need anything, are you comfortable, ( it's a wait time etc) the most appauling part about this 506 park slope location outside of the neglect and failure to communicate, we are sat in chairs that doesn't honor covid 19 standard spacing and they violate HIPPAA RIGHTS! The nurses and doctors will ask you all intimate information in front of other patients, disclose your diagnosis and other sensitive information while your sitting side by side with other patients with no privacy screen. I have always wanted to write a review concerning my birthing experience from 11 years ago at this hospital. I finally get the chance. And where do I begin?…During my prenatal appointment, one doctor was rude and uninformed. That really bothered me. One doctor was so wonderful during another prenatal appointment. He had even asked what my child’s name would be. That made me very happy. And my prenatal appointment had a 2hr waiting period. I was always disappointed. The hospital also set me up with a nutritionist who would basically tell me that I was fat and needed to stop eating so much. Now.. after my daughter was born, an aide came to make my bed and lost my phone in the process! It was never recovered, and the hospital did nothing about it. Maybe it’s because I’m not wealthy. Our recent experience at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital was far more stressful and prolonged than it should have been. The nurses and techs were caring and clearly doing their best, but the overall stay was extremely frustrating due to a serious lack of communication and coordination between departments, including doctors. My mother ended up staying a full week largely because it took five days to complete an MRI. The hospital has only one MRI machine, so if imaging is urgent, you may want to consider another facility. The scan was unexpectedly split into two sessions without informing the patient, the family, or even the attending physician. We were told we were waiting on specialist input for discharge, and ten minutes later transport arrived for a second MRI session n

Staff seem decent & caring, but not enough sufficient areas for family members & cafeteria was small. My picture shows a long corridor that could have had chairs or benches. My brother-in-law is in ICU and there were no places to sit since there were so many of us. The parking garage was good for our truck. A lot of space and it was $38 for 6 or more hours.

The BEST. I had 2 Knee-Replacement Surgeries, 1.5 years apart. I endured the ordeals, completely healed and won. Need I say more? New knees - I cannot be HAPPIER. That's a GREAT HOSPITAL with GREAT MEDICAL DOCTORS, GREAT NURSES, GREAT MEDICAL ASSISTANTS, GREAT X-RAY TECHNICIANS, AND GREAT OTHER STAFF MEMBERS. SO ARE THEIR FRONT DESK WORKERS GREAT. THANK YOU SO MUCH, FOR NEW KNEES THAT FULLY WORK RIGHT!!! I could even go running if I wanted to, but won't! Walking is good enough for me!!
