Newport Post Acute

My stay at the Newport was mostly positive. There were several staff who made the stay tolerable, funny, interactive, professional, and personal. Having a degree in Health Services Administration I was particularly observant about cleanlinest and sanitary habits. A big shout out to the cleaning staff supervisor and the PT and OT departments. They cleaned everything, especially after each use. Not only were they great but always welcommed me with a smiie. My bigest shout out has to go to Aldean - Activities Director. She engaged the residents in constent activities and even went to get them. Aldean danced, sang, wore funny hats, and laughed with all of us. She certrainly got me out of bed. I truly believe my progress was a direct result of the excellent staff I rencountered. Many thanks.

I give high praise to the entire physical therapy department. I was given seventeen days by my insurance to heal. They got me walking and balanced in seven. Thanks to them I can get back to my family sooner than even I expected. I also would like to thank the nurses, cleaning crew and office staff for your continuous non stop effort to keep the facility up and on its five star rating.😎

I just want everybody to know the therapy staff at the newport is wonderful. I am a patient and I've only been here a week and a half and i have been treated so well. But the physical therapists are our of this world including ellen, dea, marlena, ann and genny. Sometimes I don't feel good but by the time i leave there i feel better. They've encouraged me and worked so hard to get me better. They're so attentive to each patient. I love those women!!!

I have been a resident here for the past two months and have made so much progress! I wouldn’t have been able to go home if it wasn’t for every single person there. I would like to thank the nursing staff, therapy team, activities director, admissions coordinator, and social worker. They have all played a part in getting me home safely. I can’t thank them enough for my recovery and recommend anyone going to Newport if they need rehab!

My stay at the Newport was wonderful. My therapist Ellen was helped me so much to gain my strength back. Outstanding person. My occupational therapist was wonderful in all that she helped me gain my strength back. Everyone here was outstanding . I would recommend the Newport who needs therapy .
