Newport Medical Center

We had a wonderful experience at Newport Medical Center when my son (almost 2 years old) was treated. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, which made a stressful situation so much easier as a parent. Victoria, RN, Kim B, and Audrey were all amazing with my toddler—gentle, reassuring, and very thorough. They truly went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well cared for. Dr. Bishotberger, MD, was excellent—knowledgeable, calm, and great with children. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made us feel confident in the care my son received. I’m very grateful for this team and highly recommend Newport Medical Center, especially for pediatric care.

I was in the Newport Tennessee ER on February 28th at 11pm till 1am. My nurse was Ashley, Audrey, Kim ,and Victoria. They were so so amazing. I just had Open heart surgery on February 4th and was having some issues. They were so amazing and helped me in every way. They were so sweet with every need I had. I wish all nurses were like them. Thank you ladies for everything you did to make my night go smooth. Kathy Eibach

I entered the ERmm on 2/22 @ 4:30 am with AFIB, nervous and with a frightened husband. RN'S Mikayla & Deede were fabulous! They were calming and reassuring not just for me but my husband also. (we are 77 & 83, just youngsters!) Dr. Landon came and easily explained what was happening and to discuss my care. All of these people were a blessing to two frightened people. I highly recommend this ER. THEN CAME Dr. Trent, he explained my treatment plan and then very kindly told me I was staying, but I was no longer afraid, but very much reassured that I would be well cared for. I ended up in CCU, another fabulous group of people. I didn't get everyone's name, but RN Crystal knows what great staff they have. I am home and doing well thanks to Newport medical center staff!

I have had to go to Emergency Room 2x in the past few months and both times I have seen Dr. Welden (N.P.) and the care i received was amazing. From check in to check out the staff was awesome. Im terrified of needles and I seen 2 different young ladies 1 for blood work, 1 for I.V. hands down the easiest ever. My nurse Audrey RN was so sweet and thoughtful throughout my visit. Thank yall for caring and making me feel so comfortable.

Went for an X-ray. Got in and out quickly. Tech was excellent. I needed another test, but that department insisted that tgey could not see if they had an opening and instead I had to go through “scheduling” which gave me an appointment for two weeks later. It would have been better if I could’ve gotten the second test at the same time.
