New York Therapy and Wellness - Physical and Occupational Therapy

Posting this for my dad Alfred Daniello: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Alyssa is truly a ray of sunshine! As an older patient, I’ve never felt more supported or cared for in physical therapy. She is incredibly sweet, always efficient with our session time, and knows exactly how to motivate in a gentle, encouraging way. She even inspired me to get back on my stationary bike — something I hadn’t touched in years! If you’re looking for a therapist who combines skill, kindness, and genuine positive energy, Alyssa is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend.

Emily, the OT at New York Therapy & Wellness, is truly outstanding. From the first session, she was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping me improve. She takes the time to understand exactly what you’re dealing with and explains everything in a clear, practical way so you know what you’re working toward. What really stood out to me is how patient and encouraging she is. Therapy can sometimes feel frustrating, but Emily creates an environment where you feel supported and motivated. Her exercises are thoughtful and targeted, and you can tell she really understands how the body works and how to guide people toward real recovery.

Sara is open and enthusitic-an excellent therapist who explains the "how and why" of the exercises we do.She is a fine teacher. She encourages me to achiebve my best, even when it is difficult and tiring. But she is also careful to adjust the work at each meeting. We focus on different issues each time. I look forward to the sessions. She is also the therapist for my husband. His experience has been excellent. He is ill with COPD. She has been very kind and understanding. Her encouragemet has made him look forward to Mondays and Wednesdays.

My therapist was Carolla. She worked wonders with my condition. Upon release from hospital I could only walk with a walker. It was 2 1/2 weeks before therapy started with Carolla. After her second visit I was able to walk short distances without walker. After about the 6th session I realized for the first time I had my independence back again. Going to doctors, stores, driving myself. She was a blessing and I know I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. Thinking from being released from hospital I lost my independence. At 78 years okd and always having been independent that was my worse fear. Thank you for having such a capable and caring employee. Joan Spoendido

Jonathan Mariani is the OT for my wife who suffers from advanced dementia. He has be a valuable asset in opening up my wife to experiencing past activities that have been lost to this affliction. He is creative, compassionate and patient. He also has been informative and has educated me and her health aide in techniques to make my wife more agreeable to daily routines. He is an asset to your program and would be an invaluable aid to all participants in your health program. Jonathan should be commended for his commitment to the improvement of my wife’s daily life. He represents exactly the health care message your company wants to have spread. Thank you Jonathan for your assistance with my wife !
