New York Health North Massapequa - Endocrinology

I had an appointment with Dr. Courgi yesterday and unfortunately left feeling uneasy about my experience. First I want to point out that the staff was friendly and professional and Dr Courgi himself seems to be a nice person. Although the clinic was nearly empty with no patients in the waiting room, and very few already in the rooms, I waited over 30 minutes to be seen. I was actually about to leave when he finally came in. While delays can happen in medical settings, the lack of communication about the wait was frustrating. During the visit, I explained my symptoms and he recommended a medication and explained to a certain extent what the medication itself was, I agreed to start the medication. However, when attempting to send the prescription, he realized there was a potential interact

The wait was an hour but everyone in the office was super nice and friendly which was worth the wait. Dr. Courgi took his time and was very thorough in getting to know all he could about my medical history. It was my first time there. The girls in the lab were also super friendly. I will definitely go back!

I never write reviews, but I had an amazing experience under his care. He’s so kind, funny & he makes sure you’re heard. I would give him a 10/10 but I did have to wait a little bit to be seen, so 9/10. But honestly, the wait is totally worth it. He’s a great Doctor.

Dr. Courgi was incredibly kind and professional. He takes the time to listen to his patients and makes you confident in your visit. I’m happy I chose him as my doctor!

Dr Courgi is the best endocrinologist I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen quite a few. He is so kind warm and explains everything. He is also quite funny.! I’m so happy I finally found a doctor that I’m comfortable with!
