Took my senior father to see Dr. Ehrenhaus. The entire office could not have been kinder or more attentive. Front desk staff were welcoming and the technician was wonderful. My dad has aphasia and has a hard time saying the chart but air- writes out what he’s reading. The technician listened when I told her it might happen and watched him to understand that he was able to read the chart. The exam was comprehensive and we weren’t rushed through the process. Dr. Ehrenhaus was informative and helpful. He listened to our issues and gave us non-invasive actions to try first. Very appreciative of this office.

This doctor initially presents as kind but quickly becomes distant and somewhat rude, particularly in his treatment of elderly people. As a professional caregiver, I’ve witnessed firsthand how my patient received insurance authorization approval for a necessary procedure, then the doctor refused to carry it out. This behavior is clearly unethical, because he let my patient know that the insurance approval is not a certain way to assure his payment. Why would the doctor let the insurance authorization approved expire before the procedure? This situation must be addressed, and I believe it warrants investigation by a New York State or City health authority to hold the doctor accountable for his unethical actions.

I’m a patient of Dr. Ehrenhaus, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about him and his team. From the very first visit, he was incredibly kind, welcoming, and made me feel completely at ease. I tend to get really anxious during medical procedures, but Dr. Ehrenhaus was always patient with me—never rushed, always reassuring, and talked me through every step of the process. His calm and caring demeanor made a huge difference for me. He also helped me schedule my surgery and made the entire process feel smooth and manageable.
