New Vanderbilt Skilled Nursing Facility

I feel like all of these highly rated reviews are fake. this place is not that great by any means. don’t get me wrong, there are a few good people that work here but this place is by all means not a 5 star facility. They have no staff, how is it fair to have ONE nurse for an entire floor or ONE aide to take care of an entire floor? How is that fair to the STAFF or RESIDENTS? How is it ok that people are waiting hours to be changed or given medicine? How is it ok that rooms aren’t being cleaned? How is it ok that family is given attitude and ignored for caring about their family member? I understand that patients can be annoying or needy, but constantly having issues with getting help isn’t right. You call and try to speak to someone for help and all you get are the poor security guards or

This is what the facility really looks like, only certain floors and rooms look pretty and put together like they’re trying to advertise. They will openly talk bad about patients in the hallway in front of visitors and residents, and they will ignore people when they need help. why on earth would you put the loofah you use to bathe a patient on the flush handle of a toilet ?

Lets start off by saying this place is the worst nursing home . The only floor that is actually clean is the third and 8th floor which are considered the money floors . ( The residents on vents & the patients for rehab ) . Every other floor is disgusting and full of roaches . Every weekend their is a lack of supplies for cnas to give care to residents and when the residents family complains and we explain to them we ran out of supplies and its nobody to call because house keeping do not work on weekends we get in trouble by the supervisors because we aren’t supposed to be telling the family the truth lol . The food is gross , the place is understaffed , the new DNS haven’t did shit to the place the whole place is just going downhill . They dont care about their staff or their residents. Th

Most wonderful place to have a family member whether for rehab or long term care. Staff is professional and caring. Facility is super clean. Highly recommend if you are in need for a loved one.
