New Vanderbilt Elderly Care

I chose Vanderbilt Rehab for my grandma due to their wide range of wellness programs offered. Weekday programs include aerobics, strength training, stretch yoga and on-site clinics like, dental and blood pressure screening. The nutritionally balanced diet has certainly helped her get better at health and she also enjoys visiting beauty shops.

I can not say enough good things about the care team at Elderly Care. When I was unable to find somewhere to place my mom, they made room for her and have been wonderful to speak with. We are able to call at any time and receive medical updates and more. We definitely recommend them.

The nursing staff at Vanderbilt, headed by Martine, is certainly the best. They are extremely skilled and genuinely worry about those in their care. They are also very well versed in elderly care medical procedures, so we feel that admitting our grandmother there was a wise choice.

My mother was a wreck when I told her that I would need help caring for her . She expected me to do it, but with a family of my own, it just was not feasible. I called Elderly Care and they worked with me to help her become acclimated to having someone new around. They were not pushy, and they took her feelings into consideration at every moment.

I was a patient at Vanderbilt Rehab on Staten Island from Aug. 24 to Sept. 24, 2016. Over the past few years I spent time at two other rehab centers.. Vanderbilt Rehab Center stood head and shoulders above the others. After my month at Vanderbilt, I feel like a new man. I never really believed in physical or occupational therapy, but this rehab center changed my mind.
