I see there are some negative reviews of this practice due to a dentist who is no longer working there, so I wanted to add my two cents. I have had excellent care from Dr. Howard, Dr. Flores and now Dr. Pelayo-Kim, whom I saw for the first time yesterday, when my son and I went in for cleaning and check-ups, which were glowing—no cavities or other issues! The hygienists here have been great and have been encouraging me to take better care of my teeth, which have been all right in recent years but sometimes have plaque build-up. My New Year's Resolution was to actually use the electric toothbrush and Waterpik that had been sitting in my bathroom instead of swiftly brushing with a manual toothbrush for less than a minute. It paid off, as my teeth had noticeably less calculus than my previ

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Flores and the entire team at New Town Dental Arts. From the moment you walk in, the staff is exceptionally kind, efficient, and accommodating, making every visit smooth and stress-free. Dr. Flores and the dental hygienist are incredibly thorough, patient-focused, and take the time to explain everything, which really puts you at ease. They genuinely care about your comfort and well-being, no matter the procedure. It’s clear this practice prioritizes both excellent care and a positive patient experience. Highly recommend!

I never write reviews, but this was a pretty infuriating experience. Twice, I was told their system was down, and both times it caused major issues. The first time, I was called and told the date of my appointment. I showed up at that exact time and the entire office was closed. I called to explain what happened and asked why I was never notified that the office would be closed. I was told their system was down. All they offered was to reschedule. There was no apology and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The second time was even worse. I scheduled a simple short night guard pickup appointment. The day before, I was called from a No Caller ID number and told, again, that their system was down and they were confirming my appointment for the next day. A few hours later, someone else

Dr. Pelayo-Kim and Sebastian took great care of me! I came in with a lot of anxiety, having had a negative experience with a prior dentist. Their good natured professionalism put me at ease and they made sure I was pain free through the entire procedure.

This used to be a good practice. However, as of late, they seem to be having some serious staffing issues. My appointments have been canceled last minute and rescheduling has been a nightmare. I really try to stay on top of my cleanings but they’ve made it impossible. I had an appointment scheduled, six months in advance, for the end of October. It was canceled the day prior and when I called back to reschedule, I was told they couldn’t get me back in until July! Might I suggest not accepting new patients if you can’t even adequately serve your current clientele? No dental office should be asking their clients to go 15 months between routine cleanings. Do better!
