New Jersey Oral Surgery: Barbieri, Colameo, Berardo, Wuebbels

My experience with Dr. Wuebells and his team was 10/10. Dilara was also fantastic and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable!!! Let me just say that the older reviews do not reflect the business of today. I felt so listened to and had a game plan in place for my treatment. It’s rare to find a practice that’s thorough, but also has good bedside manner these days, so this is the place to go!

I had called since January to replace my mouth piece for TMJ and until today 04/03/24 they haven’t called me. I actually have to go to the office to find out what’s going on. They are horrible answering the phone or giving you a call back. When I called every month they answered like they are doing me a favor answering my call. Dr. Wuebbels is good but the staff is horrendous and unkind. When I asked why is it taking too long. The person on the phone said: “that’s how long it takes for the insurance to answer”. I said: It’s being a month. She said: “that’s about right”. I said can you call me back when it’s approved? I have a brain tumor and I need my mouth piece for the pain. She said: “yes”. Today when I went to the office they said: “it was approved a month ago”. They don’t care about t

I have mixed feelings about the office. I made an appointment to remove a tooth and asked the receptionist around how much it would cost. I'm currently on short term disability and am not making as much as I'm used to and wanted to be prepared. I had this conversation a month before the procedure. No one got back to me. Fast forward to the day of the appointment and I almost didn't have enough. I asked if I could pay half now and the other half the following week no luck. It was pay in full or no procedure. I paid the full amount and was seated and I started to speak to Dr. Colameo about a potential jaw procedure when he stated I might not need said surgery and mentioned the financial issue as one of the reasons. Not sure he even realized it but it came off extremely condescending. He has

Dr. Barbieri pulled my tooth back in 2017. A few days later the pain was not going away and I had to go back. The bone collapsed around my tooth socket and had to be filed down. This was one of the most painful procedures I have ever gone through. Fast forward 4 years, The office had charged me money after my visit that I was unaware of. The procedure was supposedly pre qualified and I was told my co-pay would be my only charge. This bill that was never sent to me was sent to a collections agency. The Office Manager Robin was very rude and did not want to discuss matters because she was “too busy and had to go.” Save yourself the trip and find another Dentist. Absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional.

Both experiences I have had with this practice treating my kids over the years have been great. The receptionists, doctors assistant and Dr Weubbels were extremely professional and informative. The assistant after the procedure was particularly helpful explaining everything that would occur and what we needed to do afterwards. I will highly recommend this practice in the future.
