New Carlton Rehabilitation & Nursing Center

I, Millie Lee personally want to thank all those staff members who have work and care for my brother Israel V. He was released from the hospital back to New Carlton in Jan 2025. This is a new start for brother who is now bedridden and wheelchair bound. He had to learn one word symbol to simple talk again like a baby. With the help of Leah Speech Therapist who hit it out of the park, she has done a tremendous job and she still hasn't giving up on. I sing her praises everyday. Now Dietician Cynthia, her job is too hard for me to describe. The menu is pretty much set way out in advaClients according to their ethnicity I don't physical know any of the nurses or the CNA'S on the 1st floor. I just know that that there are respectful and truly professional when I call them twice daily to check

I care for my great grandfather for 7 years an the hospital took him from us to send him to this place because his one too many falls he had in the past. Everything was fine in April and we would visit him 2 to 3 times a week but then on the third month June 29th 2023 my mother goes to visit him and he was sleepy, weak and pale faced. she asked him if he's okay and he said "no" but the Spanish nurse at the said he doesn't know what he's saying. The next day he caught 2 cardiac arrest and had many liters of puss in his penis and bladder from these nurses not changing his piss bag, which now I realize they never changed his pee bag or catheter and not only I noticed this but so did other family members and sadly thought nothing of it. It took them 3 months to kill him by neglecting his hygi

The level of care and attention provided by the staff is exceptional. The nurses and therapists are incredibly compassionate, professional, and dedicated to ensuring every resident's comfort and well-being. The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything needed for a smooth recovery. The rehabilitation programs are comprehensive and tailored to individual needs, which made a significant difference in each residents progress!!

11/1/2023 Because of a stroke I ended up here.. I chose New Carlton because it is only 15 minute walk from my neighborhood, friends can easily visit.. No complaints.. As a former building super,the building is well maintained.. they are always cleaning, sweeping, mopping, sanitising, bathrooms always fresh, clean.. Staff is always friendly, even the maintenance people are helpful.. We each have our own TV & tablets with free unlimited WI FI But most of all, the food is great, the meals are well prepared, always changing things up! They have a barber that comes in for the men, does an excellent job! Laundry twice a week, Optometrist if you need glasses, Snacks throughout the day.. So, for me no complaints! :):)

They are trying to fix any bad reviews about patient care. They have new staff more dedicated Nurses, and healthcare staff to address any needs or concerns.
