New Britain Pediatric Group

Both of my children have gone through this practice from start to finish. My youngest is still a patient there. We live in Bolton and travel to New Britain for the superior care we get there. My oldest has asthma that was very severe in childhood and required multiple hospitalizations and the office always worked so closely with the hospital to ensure that he was getting the care that he needed. I've never had any problems with the staff treating me any type of way and the doctors are always on top of everything in my experience

Dr Kanters secretary is incredibly rude. My son had been going to this practice since birth, we moved away for several years and came back and I asked to re-establish care as Im having a hard time getting into a pediatrician in our area. Her secretary was nasty to me on the first go, snapping at me as if she couldn’t be bothered. Then she told me they had NO RECORD of my son ever going to that practice and because of that they wouldn’t be able to provide him care. So you’re the practice responsible for not having any of his records you’ve held since his birth and then refusing me care because you lost his records? Make it make sense. I asked her where that leaves me then because every new practice is going to want the records. Then she puts me on hold and comes back 5 min later telling me

Almost all our visits are with a wait time about 45min , sometimes even an hour ! And this is with appoitment ! Today we have to late because of the traffic for 15min and they refused our visit… Very unprofesional…

Had no issues with the pediatrician we saw here. Unfortunately she seems to be undermined by inattentive support staff. Our newborn baby’s weight, on her first visit, was recorded incorrectly by almost a full pound. (My concerns re: diaper frequency, color, jaundice, lethargy, etc. were dismissed; because, of course, she appeared to have gained weight so well…) This obscured the very serious feeding difficulties we were having, and could have become a much more serious issue if it were not caught by a different specialist elsewhere. No one ever apologized for or really acknowledged this mistake, I guess because that would be admitting fault. After a series of smaller, more forgivable errors, we ultimately decided that we didn’t feel able to TRUST that someone was taking the time to make

whoever answers the phones at the front desk is incredibly rude. if i could rate 0 stars i would. all i wanted was to know if i got my tetanus shot and she said it would be a hippa violation to tell me over the phone i would have to go in front of her to have her give me the info. crazy. do not reccommend
