Nemours Children's Health, Oviedo - Primary Care

I decided to switch pediatricians for my kids and was referred to Dr.Nuygen at Nemours children’s health in Oviedo. The staff from beginning to end was very professional and made my kids feel very comfortable. Essence was the medical assistant who we first interacted with and she was very nice and professional. My kids saw Dr. Nguyen was very thorough and had a great bedside manner. Listened to our concerns and really felt like she was listening. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking pediatric care.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the team at Nemours Oviedo, especially Allison and Loretta. My children have been patients here for years, and the care has always been exceptional but yesterday reminded me just how lucky we are to have them. I received a message from my daughter’s school saying she needed a physical, and in full-on mommy brain mode, I realized I had completely forgotten to schedule it. I called in a panic, and Loretta was incredibly kind and reassuring. She calmly let me know everything would be fine and helped get appointments scheduled even though they couldn’t fit both girls in on the same day. My baby and I saw Dr.Goodwin and she was great! She explained everything thoroughly, answered all of my questions and was very kind and patient. She had an excellent bedside manner. She also gave me great tips!

My grandson started here shortly after birth. My grandson is 3.5 yrs old. Currently being enrolled in speech therapy bc he hardly speaks. Not once did the doctor sound the alarm on this. I voiced my concern multiple times and was told that this was normal. In what world is this normal. We were told time & time again that at this age we only should understand 50% of what they are saying which isn't true!

We feel incredibly lucky to have Dr. Nguyen as our kids' pediatrician since 2020. She goes above and beyond - always available to answer any questions, no matter the time or reason. She's caring, super responsive and makes us feel totally supported as parents. On Father's Day last year, my daughter was really sick and ended up hospitalized. She was able to guide us and ease our mind. I know I can always count on her. We appreciate you!
